The Council will optimise opportunities to deliver a minimum of 16,040 (net) homes during the Plan period (2021/22 – 2040/41), of which at least 8,020 new homes (net) will be delivered between 2019 - 2029 (Policy H1, London Plan),
to address the future needs within the most sustainable locations of Borough. Based on current estimates of the Borough housing capacity from all sources, the 10-year housing delivery target will be met.
