Reg 18 (2) provides 9,082 homes overall between 2021 and 2040 (or 478 DPA). The figure of 10,982 overall (2021-2040) (or 578 DPA) includes the South Downs NP area). The earlier Reg 18(1) of Nov-22 provided a DPA of 632 (but this can be disaggregated to 517 for E Hants and 115 for SDNP).

Notes
The Joint Core Strategy shows the total housing provision (i.e. the number for BOTH East Hampshire and South Downs as 10,060 dwellings over the plan period of 2011-2028). The Plan now only relates to East Hampshire as South Downs have a ‘new’ adopted plan for their area. The number was disaggregated in East Hampshire’s Housing and Employment Allocations Plan (a Part 2 Plan) adopted in April 2016. The disaggregated figure given for East Hampshire is 8,366 (outside the South Downs NP's area).
