Notes
The Local Plan makes provision for the development of a minimum of 5,320 net dwellings
in the borough in the period 2021 to 2037.
This minimum requirement will be broken down into an annual average requirement on a
stepped basis as follows:
• Years 1-5 (2021-26): 350 dwellings per annum (dpa)
• Years 6-10 (2026-31): 450dpa
• Years 11-16 (2031-37): 220dpa.

the Local/District Plans covering the remainder of the Northern West Sussex and East Surrey Housing Market Areas, as far as is consistent with planning policies to do so, as agreed through the Northern West Sussex Position
Statement with Horsham and Mid Sussex DCs and the SoCG on meeting strategic housing needs with Reigate and Banstead BC.
