Policy LP 4 - Provision of housing
Provision will be made in Bracknell Forest for the period 2020/21 to 2036/37 for sufficient land to accommodate at least 10,438 homes (614 dpa) to meet the Borough’s Local Housing Need.
An additional supply of land is also provided to allow for flexibility. There is an unmet need within Reading Borough’s adopted local plan (covering the period 2021 to 2036) of 230 dwellings, which is projected to arise in the second half of the plan period. As agreed by Western Berkshire HMA Authorities, this unmet need will be accommodated in the HMA area.
